For one of the activities in AP English Language and Composition, students were offered extra credit if they would wear signs that point out physical and psychological insecurities, March 2.
This assignment was given because of the reading of The Scarlet Letter by Nathaniel Hawthorne. The main character in the story had to wear an A on her clothing that represented her committing adultery.
