While exploring the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York, NY, junior Mary Hierholzer takes a moment to sit down on a bench and view paintings, such as Vincent van Gogh’s Wheat Field with Cypresses, in a French Impressionist gallery, March 18.

As a fan of Impressionist paintings, Hierholzer particularly appreciates the works of van Gogh, many of which are on display at the Met.

Along with other members of The Feather staff, Hierholzer traveled to New York City to attend the Columbia Scholastic Press Association’s 87th annual Spring National Convention at Columbia University, March 16-18.
