In order to benefit elementary school student Max Hinton, the Central California Blood Center holds a blood drive on the Peoples Church campus from 1-5 p.m. in front of Building 6, March 22.
Senior Ricky Lopez, a first time blood donor, sits back while the nurses draw his blood. In addition to the neon yellow “first time donor” sticker, Lopez received a free T-shirt and coupons.
The whole process of filling out paper work and having blood drawn took about 45 minutes to complete.
