As a way to educate Home Economic students about the food pyramid, Sharon Scharf, home ec teacher, spends the class period playing Food Pyramid Bingo.
Freshman, Olivia Zizzo, left, and Aliciana Quintana, ’14, right, tentatively look over their game boards to see if they have one of the many edible items that Scharf calls out. The uniqueness of this form of bingo is that it also includes items such as one percent milk, small apple or even medium sized pear.
