Leaving a legacy

As a first on Eagle soil, the varsity football team FC beat an opponent on its new field.

The Eagles defeated Stone Ridge Christian, 14-7, Sept. 23. Senior Sean Carter scored the first touchdown in the first half of the game, while senior Austin Rurik scored the winning points with just over 3 minutes remaining in the game.

Since the building of the new football field, the team struggled to win at home. As the students and spectators celebrate the first win, the night will go down in FC history.
