Rapping up U.S. history

On Wednesdays and Fridays, students from the Advanced Placement (AP) United States history class take their lunch period to decided what songs and what words will go into their Presidents rap.

Juniors Kathrine Bennett, from left to right, Rachel Quiring, center, and Jordana Siebert, AP U.S. history teacher, right, listen to many hit songs to see if any are worth putting with twelfth president Zachary Taylor. The class works on this collectively in order to prepare for their final of the Presidents and their terms at the end of the semester.
