The elementry could be seen throughout the afternoon playing fun games, such as running in a hamster ball, Nov. 9.
The carnival was thrown by Parent Teacher Fellowship (PTF) for students who participated in the cookie dough fundraiser.
Deanne Graham, fundraising executive, helped put together the event and feels like the carnival games and prizes encourage sales among the students.
“This year they [the students] had all kinds of different chances to earn prizes with certain levels,” Graham said. “It was a good incentive to help the kids sell and support the school.”
The new prize format came about because they switched to Great American Opportunities, while in the past they used a different independent company. Though the sales have not been completely totaled yet, the PTF plans to use the money to help fund the extra-cirricular attivities offered.
The PTF and the Parent Serving Together (PST) groups recently held the FC family picnic, Oct. 23.
