Dear editor,
Almost on a daily basis, I hear negativity coming from those students who feel it was unjust for their parents to put the money together to send them to Fresno Christian.
Most complainers have come from bigger schools such as Clovis West or Buchanan where they could easily get lost in the mob of students.
Many say that they wouldn’t be here if they had the choice. Others say it was the last resort, but I feel there’s no other place I’d rather be.
Fresno Christian is all I’ve ever known as a school. Maybe I just don’t like change, but I can’t see myself being happy at a school housing thousands of students. I might only know the select few I recognize in the crowd or be just a name on my teacher’s role sheet.
Perhaps in college I’ll see what is so appealing about big schools, but for now I’m happy being one of the few that can say they know everyone at their high school.
