The game plan to out run and overwhelm the Spartans from the opening tip-off gave the Eagles an insurmountable lead, sending the Eagles to a showdown against Laton in the finals, Dec. 30. Senior Cooper Belmont, center, added 17 points to go along with his 6 rebounds and 9 steals, helping FC defeat Strathmore, 74-52.

Cooper then scored 13 in the final game against the Mustangs and was named to the All-Tournament team.
