Rockets set to go

Freshman Jonathan Brushwood, from left to right, Brahamjit Randhawa, ’12, Zachary Diaz de la Cuesta, ’12 and science teacher Dan Harris create rockets out of matches and tin foil in class, Jan. 25.

They conducted this experiment to demonstrate in the real-world the concept of thrust. The class period was spent in the way as an introduction to the study of forces.
