The No. 8-seeded Eagles traveled down to Playa Del Rey to take on the top seeded St. Bernard Vikings, March 10. Going into the game, FC was hoping for a David and Goliath turnout. The Vikings jumped on the Eagles from the beginning and never looked back. Though FC fought to the finish they ended up losing, 96-64.
Senior Josh Grinage proved to hold his own against the Viking big men with 7 rebounds. Grinage later received a chair point for his solid defensive performance.
Having finished with a 25-3 record, the Eagles are the winningest boys’ basketball team in school history.
