Jewels 'round the world

Local jeweler Ginger Julian, from Ginja Jewelry, showcases her handmade accessories which she creates out of natural resources that she collects from around the world, April 19. This certain piece was created from clay located on Mt. Kilimanjaro in Tanzania, a country from East Africa.

Along with Julian, artists David Arrgoni and Connie Avila also displayed there art at The Peppertree Gallery, a north Arthop.

For more information about Arthops, read the March 8 article, World art of Rhythms and Patterns inspires. For more information about Arrgoni, read the Jan. 10, 2011 article Themed paintings combine traditional, modern techniques.
