This is the 1st episode of “FC Underground, 2016-’17,” covering the week of Sept. 5 to 10. Seniors Trevor Trevino and Jennifer King were selected to be the new hosts for the 2016-’17 school year.

FC Underground is a weekly vlog co-hosted by Trevino and King, filmed by senior videographer Jarrod Markarian and edited by senior videographer Clark Zhu.

This school year’s first CSF meeting will be taking place on Tuesday during lunch along with Choir retreat on Saturday. Girl tennis will also be facing off Fowler after school on Thursday. Come out and support your lady Eagles!

Tuesday

HS JV volleyball game and Var volleyball game at Tranquillity starting at 4pm. HS girl tennis at Dos Palos starting at 4 p.m.

Thursday

HS girl tennis game at Fowler at 4 p.m.

Friday

HS JV volleyball will be hosting small school tournament, time TBA. HS football will be playing with Anzar at FC stadium field. 

Saturday

HS girl basketball will be having scrimmage at FC Gym.

First CSF meeting will be held in room 601 during lunch time on Tuesday.

Calvin Crest Cabin Leaders Training

Calvin Crest Cabin Leaders training will take place in room 629, from 7:15 to 7:45 a.m. in the morning on Wednesday.

Brothers to Brothers and Sisters to Sisters

Brothers to Brothers and Sisters to Sisters will be having meeting and greeting on Wednesday during lunch.  Boys in room 629 and girls in room 626 and 628. Taco lunch will be provided.

Choir Retreat

Choir will be taking their annual retreat on Saturday. They will come back on Sunday.

“FC Underground” first ran in the fall of 1997 and continued until the spring of 2001. In the fall of 2009, editor-in-chief Suzanna Quiring , ’10, resumed the series, which was then produced by Paige Powell, ’10. After Quiring and Powell graduated, Brooke Stobbe and David Casuga took up the job until the end the 2011-’12 school year. Callista Fries took over after Brooke Stobbe in 2012-’13, and hosted through spring 2015.Kevin Garcha, Kylie Bell and Tim Nyberg took over on 2015-’16. Now, seniors Jennifer King, Trevor Trevino, Jarrod Markarian and Clark Zhu continue the segments.
