Platon Antoniou, a British-born photographer known only as Platon, spoke at the Saroyan Theater for the San Joaquin Valley Town Hall Lecture Series, Nov. 14.

Plaon began working for British Vogue several years before shooting portraits for international publications like the New York Times, Time Magazine and Newsweek. In 2007 Platon photographed Russian Premier Vladimir Putin for Time Magazine’s Person Of The Year Cover.
