Panetta speaks to students prior to town hall about the importance of taking risks and leading, preserving democracy as part of the solution and finding your role within public service.

Currently Panetta, co-directs the non-profit Panetta Institute for Public Policy alongside his wife Sylvia in Monterey, CA. The institute educates and develops students towards public service.
