Dear editor:
The opportunity to see the offspring of teachers brings me great pleasure.
I agree with William Hierholzerís Dec. 1 online article, ìTeachers are parents too.î Hierholzer states, ìThese children do more than form an integral part of a teacherís life. They also can brighten up a studentís day.î
It is a special time for me when I run into a teacher and his/her children whether in school, a football game or field trip.
Mr. Paul McEntee often shares with us how awesome Jonah and Micah (his two boys) are. His children have accompanied him on our band trips on occasion and it allows me to see another side of Mr. Mac.
What I like most is to see how they interact with their children. I have been able to observe their loving way towards their children, which explains why they are so patient with us.
