Students recycle, reuse and reduce to take part in America Recycles Day, Nov. 15. Millions of people participate in America recycles day.

The day was created to encourage people to recycle and buy recycled goods. Over 67,600 people have commited to recycle, reuse, and reduce. 

The day was created by the National recycling coalition in 1997. The NRC is a orginization that promotes and enhances recycling nation-wide. The national recycling rate has increased over the last 30 years to 34%. 

If you would like to do your part you can reuse and recycle any plastic or paper items.
