Math teacher Kristina Breshears consults a student on the warm up math problem during her second period algebra II class, April 25. Breshears has been teaching for nine years and recently came to FCS last year.

She is currently teaching math I and algebra II at Fresno Christian.

“I love teaching because I love this age group,” Breshears said. “I love high schoolers who are trying to figure out who they are in this world and what they are passionate about. I hope to be a positive influence on them and I hope my passions will rub off on them. After teaching seven years in public school Fresno Christian has taken some getting used to. I am learning to be open about my faith and to find ways to incorporate faith in the classroom. I’m glad that my week includes being encouraged in my faith and worshiping my King.”

Breshears teaches in both highschool and junior high.
