WEEKLY CAMPUS ANNOUNCEMENTS FOR Oct. 2 – 6

The Feather brings its readers weekly FC campus announcements published the first day of each week. This week’s coverage is from Oct. 2 – 6, 2017. This is the 33rd annual Fresno Christian homecoming week. Look for the many articles and photos promoting the event.

As the sports schedule gets underway, consider supporting JH and HS athletes at our home games. The week’s athletic events are listed in the weekly announcements below.

Monday

Academic adviser Michelle Warkentin plans College Night Workshop, Oct. 2. Warkentin  hosts the FCS parent/student College Night Workshop from 6:30-8 p.m. in the Jackie Johnson Room on the ground floor of Building 6! This will be an informative night about ALL things related to college, from the FAFSA and tuition costs to college applications and acceptance rates. It is our hope to demystify the college search and application process. I will also offer a Q & A session at the end of the workshop. Please  sign up for the FC College Night Workshop. Your RSVP helps me plan accordingly.

Tuesday

HS girls tennis vs Coalinga HS at 3:30 p.m.

HS volleyball @ Minarets HS at 5:30 p.m. for JV and 6:30 p.m. for Varsity.

Wednesday

Thursday

HS girls tennis @ Dos Palos HS at 4 p.m.

HS volleyball vs Caruthers HS at 4:30 for JV and 5:30 for varsity.

Friday

HS football vs Riverdale Christian HS at 7 p.m. homecoming.

Monday: ‘Merica Monday

Tuesday: Topper Tuesday

Wednesday: Wish-Upon-A-Star (Disney)

Thursday: PJ Day

Friday: Spirit/Sports Day

Students

Night Bonfire rally from 6:30 – 8 p.m. at the Nale’s house. Transportation is available. Check in at the high school office.

STEM Club

STEM club meets 3:15 – 4:15 p.m. in room 622, Oct. 4.

Choir

Music Muffins are sold every Wednesday before school in the quad area next to building 6. Muffin and juice for $2. Proceeds to the FC choir.
