Director of technology Robert Hyatt visits fourth period Christian Living to share his message on ‘what is the church?’, Nov. 7.

In Aubri Foster’s Christian Living classes Hyatt explains what defines the church, vs what the definition of the church is.

He explains the difference between the two as, Church with a big “C” vs church with a small “c”. Church with a big “C” is anyone who is a follower of Christ, while church with a small “c” consists of the actual building, lights, seats, etc.

During his presentation, Hyatt shares a key point with the class: “When Jesus came everything changed.”

He also shares some background information on himself including when he joined the FC community and how long he has been a pastor. Hyatt joined FC three years ago, Sept. 1, 2014. He has been a youth pastor at Baptist church, associate pastor for three years and pastor of discipleship for five years.

At the end of his message, Hyatt explains the personal story behind his tattoos, hoping to use them as encouragement.
