Biology students get creative

[/media-credit] Students were allowed to get creative with this project, Nov. 17. An assortment of projects were turned, including short stories, illustrated writings, and videos.

Dr. Karen Walter tasked her biology students to write a story about water molecules, Nov. 17.

In light of the upcoming Thanksgiving break, students were given the choice to either write a story, make a video, or draw a series of pictures that would creatively convey the elements of the water cycle.

Freshman Vy Lee, who created a video for the assignment, shares her thoughts on the project.

“I liked that we got to do this project because it was really fun,” Lee said. “I found it enjoyable that I was able to get creative with the project, instead of having a traditional assignment.”

This project was the final project of the unit. They will be starting the next unit after Thanksgiving break.
