High school students represent their favorite sports team for today’s Homecoming dress up theme, Goofy’s Wide World of Sports Tuesday, Oct. 2.

Throughout the halls, on the playground and in the classrooms, students from all grades and teachers alike wear their sports team memorabilia. From hockey jerseys, to dirt bike uniforms, to tutus of team colors, FC is filled with a variety of sports gear.

Junior Kayla Vanderlinden decks out in full Patriots gear, honoring her favorite team.

“Sports day is my favorite dress up day for homecoming week,” Vanderlinden said. “I love it because I go all out with everything sports related. My favorite team is the New England Patriots because my brother has always liked them, and I followed in his footsteps. I just enjoy representing my favorite team!”

What sports team did you represent today? Let us know in the comments down below!

At lunch, the second princess pageant took place, testing the princesses’ Disney knowledge. If the answer is incorrect, princesses receive a seemingly ‘sweet’ surprise, a pie tin full of whip-cream to the face. Junior candidate Lindsay Weimer is the victor, answering the most correct trivia questions.

Champions for Tomorrow tomorrow also makes a visit to FC during Tuesday chapel time. Caleb Crevier from Champions for Tomorrow speaks to students about choosing the difficult path to be a champion. He encourages students to strive for excellence and to continue to set goals in life. Crevier demonstrates his achievements with spinning multiple basketball balls, riding a giraffe unicycle and juggling. Students were also chosen from the crowd to participate in some of his acts. Thank you @championsfortomorrow for coming!

Tomorrow is Sleeping Beauty’s Wake Up Wednesday, so wear your pajamas, slippers and robes to school. Be sure to stay in dress code!

Fresno Christian’s 34th Annual Homecoming takes place Oct. 5th, with gates and concessions opening at 5:30 p.m. Be sure to visit class floats and vote for your favorite. The class best Princess candidates will be introduced pre-game at 6:30 p.m and join the senior court for the announcement of royal winners at half-time.
