Eagles shut out Desert High

Eagles+shut+out+Desert+High

FC football plays Desert High at home for their first playoff game, shutting out the Scorpions, 57-0, Nov. 2.

Senior Aaron LaCroix scores the first point of the night, scoring a touchdown within the first 13 seconds of the game. Marcus James, ’20, intercepts a Scorpion pass at the 1-yard line and scores a pick-6 with three minutes left in the first half.

Quarterback Anthony Leonardo, ’19, passes to senior Griffin Schmidt who scores a 23-yard touchdown with three minutes left in the first half. With nine minutes left in the third quarter, Blake Burdan, ’20, scores his second touchdown of the game, on a 24-yard run.

Way to go Eagles!

Eagles advance to the semifinals against Orcutt, which will be played at home, Nov. 4. Kick off will be at 7 p.m. Stay tuned later in the week to find out what the theme of the game will be.

Head out to the FC field, join the Nut House and cheer on your Eagles as they play in the semifinals of playoffs. Let’s make this the biggest turn out of the year!

Don’t forget, due to this being a CIF playoff game, all game attendees are required to pay the entrance fee.

Entrance fees are as follows:

Adults: $8

Seniors (65+) and students w/ID card: $6

Children 5 and under: free

Concession prices are as follows:

Hot dog: $3

Hot dog meal with chips and drinks: $5

Hamburger: $4

Hamburger meal: $6

Nachos: $3

Churros: $2

Drinks: $1

Gatorade: $2

After the game, be sure to come out to Me N Eds at Herndon and Cedar for 5th Quarter. Bring $5 for pizza and a drink.
