A group of parents and students gathered for prayer and fellowship on Sept. 27. Despite losing sleep, 60 people arrived at Peoples Church fountain 7 A.M.
See you at the Pole was student lead and inspired, but teachers were also a part of the circle of prayers and support.
?I went to See You at the Pole because I believe that we have a responsibility as Christians to be there,? Chris Schultz, dean of men, said. ?I think that powerful things happen when you pray.?
See You at the Pole involved both jr. high and high school students, but seniors were unable to attend due to class pictures.
?I was surprised at how many junior high students showed up,? Will Hierholzor, ?07, said. ?Senior pictures were scheduled for the same day, so most people were at home getting dressed up. I was disappointed that only Paris (Smith, ’07) and I showed up.?
See You at the Pole gives Christian students an opportunity to come together and pray with each other on their own. The event unites millions of students in this country and encourages others to pray for each other.
?I was disappointed that none of my friends really showed up, ? Taryn Brown, ?08, said. ?but I don?t need my friends to glorify God. The point of the event is to remind us about all that God has given us.?
See You at the Pole is always the fourth Wednesday of September, many continue to go each year because of curiosity.
?I went to See You at the Pole because I have never been to one and I wanted to see what it was like,? Smith said. ?There was a lot more people there than I expected.?

Drama is really fun. I was sorry that I was not able to go to the Fresno State drama thing. This picture is hilarious.
