How many years have you attended FC

I have been attending Fresno Christian since third grade.

Where/how many colleges have you applied to for next year?

I applied to one college and it is Cuesta College in San Luis Obispo.

What do you plan on majoring in?

I want to major in business or liberal studies and become a special education teacher.

What is a favorite memory from high school?

I plan to stay in California.

A favorite memory of high school?

My favorite memory of high school was from freshman year at formal when I won an I pad.

Who has been an influential “favorite” teacher in your eyes and how?

My favorite teacher is Mr. (Kyle) Dodson for sure. I learned more from him than almost any teacher. He is the reason why I want to become a teacher.

What activities have you been involved in over the past four years?

Over the past years in high school, I have been involved in multiple sports, Sister to Sister, choir, ensemble and I also have a job at Jabin.

Is there anything you would have done differently?

I wish I started basketball sooner because of how it was to be on the team with the girls. I made so many memories with them.

Post graduation, what do you look forward to in your future?

I look forward to moving away and a having a place of my own.

Where do you see yourself in 10 years?

In ten years I plan have traveled to multiple places, be married and have children along with a solid career.

A fun fact about Escalera is she works with her friend Deborah Ingerson, ’20, as Jabin.
