Video yearbooks preserve memories

Dear editor:

Memories come in more than just books. Marielle Desrosiers explains in her Feb. 14 online article, “Classes combine, construct video memories,” that students will now have a video disc as well as a hardcopy yearbook.

Having experienced both yearbook and video productions, I agree that this is a great idea and will also help preserve many of the school year memories. I also agree that this method will put to use many of the ?left out? photos the yearbook staff doesn?t use; however this could also be a nuisance if too many photos, or bad photos are selected.

While the recollections will remain strong in yearbooks, I think it is also enjoyable to view a slideshow or montage as they bring a different mood. Personally I welcome the addition of disc yearbooks.
