Dear editor:
After reading Meghan Anderson’s Dec. 1 article, “Tardy issue still a topic after graduation,” I gained a wider understanding of an issue that affects me personally nearly every dayótardiness.
It encouraged me to see that I am not the only one affected by circumstance, but just one of a swelling number of people who have trouble with both transportation and motivation.
Even though I am not a senior, my habitual lateness has me concerned over my very near future, not only as a senior, but also afterward. I had not fully realized how tardiness could affect my collegiate career.
Colleges will not only look at the grades of an applicant, but their attendance record as well. Seeing as how my grades arenít the greatest in the world (3.0 GPA), I deem it necessary to change my unpunctuality.
