Introducing your 2021 freshman homecoming candidates!

Congratulations to this year’s freshman homecoming princess nominees, Lyla Hinton, Milly Morgan and Grace Grech. Get to know these candidates with some interesting facts and information they shared with The Feather Online.c

Voting takes place Thurs. morning, after the Royal Battle, Sept. 16.  Winners will be announced during  halftime at the 36th annual Fresno Christian homecoming game against Alpaugh, Sept. 17.

Get to know, Lyla Hinton

Hinton has attended Fresno Christian since kindergarten. Three words to describe her are genuine, patient and “go with the flow.” Hinton’s favorite FCS memory is coming back to school in 2020 after being online for the past few months. Hinton’s favorite bible verse is Matthew 6:34, “Therefore do not worry about tomorrow,  for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.”

If you were stranded on an island, Which one Disney Character would you hope to have with you? Why?

Mulan because I want to hang out with her and she could teach me karate

Get to know, Milly Morgan

[/media-credit] Milly Morgan would eat at Torchy’s Tacos or Freddy’s if she could only eat one fast food restaurant for life.

Morgan has attended Fresno Christian since fifth grade. Three words to describe her funny, smiley and goofy. Morgan’s favorite memory at FCS is the seventh grade LA trip. Morgan’s favorite bible verse is 1 Timothy 4:12, “Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith and in purity.”

Travel to a foreign country and learn about the culture

I would have to choose Olaf because of how positive and happy he always is!

Grech has attended Fresno Christian since seventh grade. Three words to describe her are godly, smart and kind. Grech’s favorite memory at FCS is the color battle. Grech’s favorite bible verse is Proverbs 3:5-6, “Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.”
