Fresno Christian’s boys tennis team honors Trent Wilson on senior night, April 19. Wilson is honored by his family, friends and teammates before the game with flowers and a poster.

Wilson prevailed on the team beginning freshman year. He spent countless hours training alongside his teammates, and made a plethora of unforgettable memories.

“Just enjoying every practice that I had with the team and seeing smiles on each other’s faces has really made tennis at this school memorable,” Wilson said.

He has played tennis for 6 years, including the 4 years on this team. Wilson will be attending Arizona State University in the fall and plans on continuing to advance his skills with coaches that he came into contact with.

Wilson leaves a few words of advice for anyone interested in playing this reputable sport.

“Don’t be afraid of joining the team, if you want to play tennis and have fun, I say just join,” Wilson said. “But, if you want to get serious with tennis, get in contact with the right coaches, and make sure to listen to the coaches here as well.”
