Dear Editor:

One of the things I really liked about this school was that people would not judge you by what you look like on the outside.

After reading the May 9, 2007 article Cultural diversity characterizes campus by Elisha Quintana, I could really see that it was not just my opinion, but others as well.

When DaEun Sunwoo [’10] first came to our school, she joined the JV girls’ basketball team. Even though communication was difficult, the whole team loved her and saw her as a great player, team mate and friend.

I think that we should encourage others to get to know foreign exchange students because in reality they are just like us.
