Rise and shine for the class of 2024 as they participate in Senior Sunrise, a traditional early morning kickoff for the school year, Aug. 18. The morning began at 6 a.m. while they slowly rolled in (still adjusting to their summer sleep schedules) and found their comfy spot on the blankets spread all over the lawn. As the sun rose a time of worship was lead by Paige Deffenbacher, Donavan Guglielmana, Grace La Croix, and Serenity Cortez.
Seniors Jake Wyatt and Serenity Cortez both lead devotions focusing on the impact seniors can have on campus and encouraging each of them to build community amongst each other. Wrapping up the morning with circle time allowed them to share a personal goal and pray over the year. This is the first of several senior events throughout the 2023-24 school year. Next up is Senior Retreat at Hume Lake Christian Camps, Sept. 24-25.
