Fresno Christian student leadership announces the coming of Formal 2024, ‘Moonlight Sonata.’ The event will take place, March 22 and lasts from 6 p.m.- 9:30 p.m. at the Buena Vista Center.

Tickets will be sold for $65 starting Feb. 22 and will raise to $75 on Feb. 29. See Silvia Emerian’s office to purchase your tickets.

Each year, students create short films based on real movies, normally shown the night of formal. This year, instead of short films, students will film, edit, and produce music videos that will be screening the night of formal. Staff will vote on music videos and students will receive awards later that night. This year the overall theme of formal is ‘Midnight Sonata.’ Below is the list of music videos each class will recreate.

Seniors: Just Dance mashup

Juniors: ‘God’s Plan’

Sophomores: ‘Crusin’ for a Brusin’ 

Freshmen: ‘Ain’t No Mountain High Enough’ and ‘Life is a Highway’

The night will include appetizers, a soda bar, music, games, dinner, music videos, awards and dessert.

The menu consists of two different pastas, salad and bread.

Dessert is provided by Nothing Bundt Cakes consisting of bundtinis
