The Super Quiz starts at 3:30 p.m. in the Clovis East High School East Gym. Get there early to find good seats. The AcaDec team would really appreciate a good FC booster section at the Super Quiz.
Following the SuperQuiz event, the contestants, their families and guests will be having dinner at Luna’s in Clovis from 5 to 7 p.m. We are reserving a room and a dinner special of aproximately $9 per person.
At 7:30 p.m., the awards ceremony begins back in the East Gym. Come join us and support the FCHS decathletes. Students and friends are encouraged to come, even for any part of the proceedings, but especially for the Super Quiz section.
NOTS DVDS
The Night of the Stars DVDs will go on sale in the high school office around Feb. 11. The DVD will cost $10 and include the freshman, junior and senior movies.
TRANSCRIPTS FOR COLLEGES
All seniors planning to go to college must request official transcripts with final first semester grades to be sent to applicable colleges. Fill out the transcript request forms in front of the high school office and submit them to Mrs. Kilbourne.
CELL PHONE POLICY REMINDER
Cell phones are not to be seen in any of the buildings on campus between the hours of 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., regardless of any reason. They will be taken away and kept by an administrator until after 3 p.m. However, students may use cell phones outside the building or in the high school office, with permission, during school hours.
WSL TALENT SHOW AUDITIONS
The auditions for the 2009 WSL talent show will be held Feb. 2 and 3 at lunch. However, anyone interested in auditioning must prepare during Christmas vacation. All acts must be pre-approved by the administration before the closed auditions. Please bring a printed copy of any song lyrics to the auditions and sign up in front of the high school office. Three acts from Fresno Christian will be chosen to compete in the regional talent show.
PSAT RESULTS
PSAT results, including score sheets and test booklets, may be picked up from Molly Sargent in the high school office. Students must have a note from their parents giving permission to pick up the PSAT material or parents may pick the results up themselves. For more information or for questions, contact Sargent.

Remember to purchase Scrip for your holiday shopping and giving. You will earn 2%-3% of all your purchases as a credit against your tuition. All gift cards are worth the face value of purchase; there are no hidden fees! Use your Save Mart Shares card (remember they must be activated within 6 months), and also purchase Save Mart Scrip and you will get a 4% credit on all that you spend! (Shares card use alone is 2%).
Stop by any school office for order forms. Call Cynthia Ward at 299-1695, ext. 124, or email her at [email protected] for questions.
