Council Member Clint Olivier has invited The Feather Online to City Hall and would like to recognize them after they were honored as a Pacemaker, All-American and Crown award-winning paper this school year. The Council member would like to give each Feather staffer a certificate of recognition as well as serve the entire group with a proclamation for their success. City Hall officials will do this during a council meeting April 26, starting at 8:30 a.m.

Every Wed. at 3:05 p.m., the California Scholarship Federation club will be providing tutoring in Room 621. Help will be offered for free in all school subjects and all students are welcome to come.

If any seniors are receiving athletic scholarships from colleges, the student body would like to know. These scholarships are important and a sign of success so the athletic department would like to share it with the community. The accomplishments will be shared with The Feather and the Fresno Bee. If a student is interested, please contact the high school office.

All California Scholarship Federation members are recommended to come out and help at the Fresno Rescue Mission for the Rescue the Children project. The club will meet there at 8 a.m. and be done by 1 p.m. which means that all CSF service hours can be completed here. Work will include painting, cleaning and yardwork so students should come dressed in work clothes and shoes. The location is 2141 N. Parkway Dr., near the Tower District. Please park in the south parking lot near this location. For more information see Molly Sargent or attend the next CSF meeting April 20 at 12:35 p.m. in Room 621.

All seniors who are currently taking an online class must be complete with the course and final test by April 30.

Sports physicals will be May 8 from 6-7 p.m. in Rooms 602 and 604. The cost is $25.00 for a physical. Checks may be payable to Dr. Gonzalez. All students who plan on playing a sport for the next school year are recommended to get their physical here.

Michelle Warkentin will now be monitoring all tardies and holding detention on Mondays for the students who qualify.
