Team introductions (football, cheer, tennis, volleyball, cross country, club soccer) will start at 6 p.m. All tickets for the events will be sold at the door. Please help us be a blessing to them. We hope to see you at the carnival!

Students in grades 9-11 are assigned lockers. However, there is only a limited number of lockers left to be assigned to the seniors. If you do not have a car to keep your books and need a locker, you must request a locker assignment from Yoko Kilbourne in the high school office: first come, first served.

Seniors who are late to 7th period will have their lunch pass taken away for one week on the first offense. The second tardiness will result in the pass being taken away for two weeks. The third time, the pass will be taken away for three weeks. The fourth tardiness will cause the lunch pass to be taken away for good.

FC will hold a cheer clinic for game squad tryouts, students grades 9-12, on Tuesday, Aug. 25 and Wednesday, Aug. 26 from 3 – 4 p.m. Tryouts will be held on Thursday, Aug. 27 from 3 – 4 p.m. Anyone who wants to participate in the first ever cheer game squad, please come to the clinic and tryouts. All girls interested in playing are encouraged to show up for practice on Monday.

Brittany Salley will be the new head coach, assisted by Janae and Tonia Keys-Bramlett. Coach Salley played tennis at Fresno Pacific and taught tennis at Sierra Sports. Janae and Tonia played in high school for FC’s winning team. We look forward to a great year.

For more information, contact Cynthia Ward at 299-1695 ext. 122.

For more information, email Tatum at [email protected].

FC color guard is looking for new people to participate in the marching season. All students grades 7th through 12th are invited to try a new activity. For more information, head to the high school office and sign up.

For all students interested in joining the cross country team, there is a mandatory meeting after school Thursday, Aug. 20 at the picnic tables. Coach Janae Ford will meet with the athletes to talk about plans for the season. Go Eagles!

Beginning this Wednesday, Aug. 5, open gym will be held for girls’ basketball every Wednesday from 6 p.m. in the FC gym.

This year JH and HS lunches will be sold by clubs and athletic teams. The menu will be posted in the announcements each week. The test will be administered here on the FC campus and is free for all high school students between 10th and 12th grade. Test results help students learn their strengths and talents which assists them in later career choices.

Please sign up in front of the HS office and grab a copy of the ASVAB Overview Guide to help your student prepare. Sign-ups end on Sept. 4th. Please see Molly Sargent, academic advisor, for details.
