The convention is a great way to improve your ability in journalism. The trip costs around $370. The editors of our newspaper are also invited to attend the 89th Annual Scholastic Convention held by the Columbia Scholastic Press Association. The Feather Staff will be presenting sessions to greatly help the people of our organization and benefit the attendees of the convention. See Greg Stobbe for more details.
FCS NEW SAFETY MEASURES
As we welcome you back for the second semester we want to make you aware of additional safety measures on our campus. Teachers on both campuses will keep their classroom doors locked once class starts. A buzzer system has been installed at the Northeast campus, so that the gate will remain locked during the school day. Visitors will need to ring a buzzer, to be allowed on campus by office personnel.
I’d also like to take this opportunity to remind you that any person not currently employed by Fresno Christian Schools, must check in to a school office before reporting to a classroom or the playgrounds.
Our goal, as always, is to provide the safest environment possible in which to educate your children. We look forward to a great second semester.
-Letter from Todd Bennett
