EAGLES WIN STATE VOLLEYBALL MATCH AGAINST FAIRMONT PREP
The volleyball team won its first ever CIF SoCal Regional, Division V State playoff match, Nov. 24. The No. 4 Lady Eagles beat No.5 Fairmont Prep School from Anaheim, in a 5-set thriller, 3-2. Read more of the win and every match this season in the Volleyball sport shorts, 2009. Go to the Sports section of The Feather Online and be sure to watch the slideshow for each match as well.
The volleyball team will continue playoff action against the No. 1 seed, Tri-City Christian of Vista, CA, Nov. 28. All attendees must pay at all CIF playoff games: general admission is $9; high school students, children (5+ years) and senior citizens (60+) are $5. All students must show their student ID cards to qualify for student entry fee. No free passes will be accepted.
SENIOR GRADUATION PRESENTATION
Jostens representatives will be on campus Nov. 30 to present information for seniors about graduation announcements, as well as their caps and gowns. Congratulations to coach Bonner Cunnings for being voted Coach of the Year by his peers. The other football coaches in the West Sequoia League are impressed with what Coach Cunnings has done with the FC team, as well as the Christian characters that the coaches and athletes display.
COMMENTS ON THE FEATHER
The Feather Online (www.thefeather.com) staff would appreciate those who read their articles, view pictures or watch slideshows to send feedback to the staff in the comment section at the end of the article or photo. These comments help the staff focus and improve their journalism skills.
