Fresno Christian Leadership organized this year’s Winter Sports Rally to represent the student athletes, play games and foster collaboration among students, Feb. 6. Students were encouraged to wear jerseys and participate in the games which are grade against grade.
The rally kicked off with a game of musical chairs, four students from each grade play to represent their grade for points. During this game, students rotate in a circle trying to keep a seat to stay in the game. Ian Palsgaard ‘25, took the win after the last round against Tayla Tarlton, ‘26, this earned the senior class many points.
The second game consisted of six players from each grade, three boys and three girls. These players participated in a game of four-way dodgeball. During this game students played six player dodgeball in a tournament style, with all four teams on the court at once. After the senior and freshman teams got out, the remaining two teams faced off. Sophomores came out on top earning the class points.
At the end of the rally leadership counted up the points from each class. Determining the winner is determined by class participation and number of game wins. With a total 18 points, the seniors earn a well-deserved pajama day.
