BOOK BUDDIES
Students interested in helping kindergartners read at Pinedale elementary must attend a presentation done by Linda Amparano, former FC parent and volunteer at Pinedale, Sept. 22 at 12:40 p.m. in the JJ Room. All high schoolers are welcome to join, but must commit full time to travel by bus every Thursday to Pinedale. The reading to kids begins Oct. 6 and ends Dec. 13.

SPANISH CLUB
The Spanish Club will have its first meeting at 12:35 p.m. in Room 603, Sept. 9. Students may bring their lunch, but dessert and drinks will be provided. All returning members and students who are interested in joining will receive a membership form to fill out. Last years officers will be discussing the club’s plans for the year and taking nominations.
