WEEKLY CAMPUS ANNOUNCEMENTS FOR FEB. 9 – FEB. 14

CANDY GRAMS
Beginning Feb. 3, Candy Grams are on sale! CJSF members are selling them for $1 each. Pick up a form during lunch, in room 628, or the HS office and turn it in with your dollar. The last day to buy is Feb. 12, as they will be delivered during lunch on Feb. 13.

WSL TALENT SHOW, FEB. 12, 19
Student leadership advisors still hope to get participants for the West Seqoia League Talent Show. This will be the 14th annual competition. FC will be competing against teams from Caruthers, Riverdale, and Fowler. Students interested in participating need to clear their calendars for Feb. 12 and 19. Please contact advisors Robert Foshee and Vickey Belmont to sign up and perform your talent by Feb. 6.

WORLD KINDNESS WEEK
This week, Feb. 9-13, is World Kindness Week. Students are encouraged to show random acts of kindness. Please use #RAKWeek2015 in your Instagram and Twitter posts.

FC SERVE DAY, FEB. 19
FC Serve Day will take place on Feb. 19. JH students will stay on campus while HS students go to one of the following: Community Food Bank, Kepler Charter School Poverello House, Neighborhood Thrift, or to help with graffiti removal (2 sites TBA) and a team to clean up Ted C. Wills Fresno park. Students will be choosing which location they serve at during advisory. Reverse permission slips are needed returned to the office for those who students who cannot participate.

KIDS DAY, MARCH 3
Kids Day is coming up quickly! March 3, Leadership students and Feather staff members will be meeting to pass out newspapers. Leadership will meet at 4 a.m. and Publications at 5 a.m. Students will be split into two groups and sent to either Cedar and Alluvial or Chestnut and Alluvial. Reverse permission slips will be given to those who are cannot attend.

NIGHT OF THE STARS, MARCH 28
This year Night Of The Stars will be held at Wolf Lakes on Saturday, March 28.
More information will be available as the event gets closer.

CREATIVE WRITING CLUB
If you enjoy writing, the Creative Writing club meets in room 603 every Monday during lunch. This club is available to JH and HS.

COLLEGE TRIP
Students who are interested in attending the college trip are able sign up with Vickey Belmont in the HS office. The trip is scheduled for March 3-4 and we will be visiting USC, UC Riverside, Cal Baptist University, and Azusa Pacific University. This trip will be made available to CSF members in grades 10-12 in good academic standing at the time of the trip. Other 11th and 12th grade students with a 3.5 GPA or higher are qualified to go. The cost of the trip will be approximately $100 per student, but the money is not due at this point. Please do not sign up unless you are fairly certain you will be able to attend. More information will be announced soon. Feb. 13 is the last day to sign up.

SPORT EVENTS DRESSCODE
All school students must be in dress code at all school sports events, both on campus and at away games. Students who are out of dress code will be asked to change clothes and may be required to leave the event if they are unable to comply.

PHOTOJOURNALISM

LUNCH MENU
Lunches may now be selected online. Go to the Fresno Christian website, select Campus News, and scroll down until the lunch menu is visible. Under the menu the option “Submit your lunch request” will appear. You may then select what you want for lunch!

No bills over $20 are accepted.

Thursday – JH Leadership; Chick-Fil-A, Chicken sandwich, drink and dessert

STUFF MART
Stuff Mart, the student store, is open every day during the 10 minute break. It is located at the south end of the top floor in building six. Snacks and some school supplies are available for a nominal cost.
