The introduction of AI quickly makes its mark in the academic setting, with students and faculty using AI as a tool for completing various tasks. However, this poses a problem with academic integrity issues, as some students rely entirely on AI to complete their schoolwork. Like everything, there is a healthy balance, but concerns arise with approximately 54% of students using AI regularly in 2025. ChatGPT is a familiar AI option for people, especially students. A study conducted in 2025 shows that approximately two-thirds of students use it for educational purposes.
