Dear editor:
Every once in a while I will read The Feather during some down time at work. One thing I always notice is that you do not always capitalize correctly in your titles.
I am not trying to nag on little things, however using title case is important. You should be capitalizing any word that is not a minor word or conjuction. For example, your title “Eatery combines quality with variety” should be written as “Eatery Combines Quality with Variety”.
Editor response: Using capitals is important; however, this is a style issue and each paper creates its own format. But according to the 2009 AP Stylebook, only the first word and proper nouns are capitalized in a headline.
