Throughout the year, The Feather Online publishes hundreds of stories ranging from sport shorts to features to entertainment reviews. One of the staff’s favorite aspects of the paper is reading readers’ comments and letters. In order to encourage this interaction, The Feather is asking its readers to send in their own stories for publication.

Students, parents, teachers and other Feather readers can submit stories through the comment function at the bottom of this article. The topic for the first of this series is as follows:

What has been your most embarrassing moment in high school? Tell a story about falling flat on your face, saying the wrong thing or an insufferably awkward situation. Did you learn anything? How did you fix the situation?

Please limit stories to 200 words. Inappropriate submissions will not published, and The Feather reserves the right to edit conservatively for content and grammar. Anonymous posting may be approved.

Please include your grade level (or indicate “adult”). If you do not attend Fresno Christian, indicate your grade, school and town.

The Feather will publish a handful of submissions next week in the features section.
