Park51 opposition rooted in Islamophobia, misinformation

Over the past few years, there has been a growing disdain for Muslim Americans throughout the country. Whether it be through mosque bombings or signs which read “Islam is of the Devil,” people are not hesitating to voice their opinions about Islam.
