Dear editor:
I want to tell you what a pleasure it is to go online and read The Feather, truly an outstanding publication.
Every day a new article, picture, blog or podcast can be found; I am informed, entertained and blessed by what I read. The quality and variety of the material presented is top notch. Your staff does a great job of researching and reporting on so many different topics of interest.
As a follower of sports, I especially appreciate the sports shorts, and how up-to-date they are. You have staffers covering each and every sporting event at the high school, and keep us posted with great photos as well. A picture’s worth a thousand words … and your talented photographers capture the school events in wonderful ways that make us smile.
Most recently, a team of staffers contributed to put together an article, slideshow and video of the boys’ basketball team’s victory at Selland Arena. They did an amazing job of putting together a complete montage of information, highlighting the event from beginning to end. Nick [Avery], Austin [Ward], Ashley [Ward], Mary [Hierholzer], Sean [Carter] and David [Casuga] are to be commended. Thanks also go out to the skilled photographers who captured the excitement in pictures.
We are privileged at FC to have a resource like The Feather as our school’s online paper. It is a jewel amongst high school publications. Amidst all the hard work, late hours and deadlines that continually are a part of putting The Feather together, know that there are a great many readers who affirm, appreciate and are blessed by your efforts. Thank you for all you do.

I was happy to get our caps and gowns and announcements. It made me realize that graduation is just around the corner!
