FC Underground, Ep. 30 (VIDEO)

The 30th episode of “FC Underground,” covers the week of Oct. 24-28, 2011. “FC Underground” is a weekly segment hosted by Brooke Stobbe, ’12, and produced by Austin Rurik, ’12.

Stobbe highlights this week’s events but the video includes a review on the Civil War Revisited this past weekend. But looking forward, Stobbe promotes the choral department’s concert and CSF assembly on Oct. 27, Spanish Club’s lunch meeting the football game against Parlier the next day. Stobbe also promotes the volleyball games against Caruthers and Parlier and Civics class is also visiting Fresno’s Court House this week.

The segments consist of news, interviews, profiles and comments on campus life. Each episode is between two and three minutes in length.

“FC Underground” first ran in the fall of 1997 and continued until the spring of 2001. In the fall of 2009, editor-in-chief Suzanna Quiring, ’10, resumed the series, which was then produced by Paige Powell, ’10. After Quiring and Powell graduated, Stobbe and Casuga took up the job until this year.

For the previous episode, watch ‘FC Underground,’ Ep. 29.

All the elements of the Easter Chapel were well conceived and delivered in a heart-felt manner. The initial video was creative, Matt’s personal reflection was well thought out and scripturally sound.

A service like this requires excellent tech support, and it was flawless – lighting, sound, video, word projection… I appreciated Josh’s vocal leadership during the singing. Both Mr. Martens and Mr. Foshee added a quiet spirited support to the program. Well done, all!
