Between convocation, introductions to classes, learning unfamiliar names and faces and experiencing the different aspects of a new year, the first week of school can be a busy time for students.

That’s why The Feather would like to take time to pay tribute to the beginning of the 2011-12 school year with this three-minute video produced by Webmaster David Casuga. In it, Casuga highlights an array of classes and the students who make up those classes, as everyone comes together for a new academic year.

Casuga also pays homage to this year’s theme, “We Are One,” with the accompaniment of a Switchfoot song by the same title.
