In order to celebrate the result of the home football game, the student leadership class will hold a Starbucks-themed Fifth Quarter immediately after the game in Ground Zero, Oct. 28.
The leadership class encourages all FC students to attend. By holding the event at school, they hope to give everyone the opportunity to attend, even if they cannot drive.
The entrance cost will be $3 for students and $5 for non-students. Football players will get in for free. There will be hot chocolate and coffee available.
Student leadership adviser Robert Foshee supports the idea of students participating in the Fifth Quarter.
“If students hang out after the game, why not do it together at the school,” Foshee said. “It’s a hip way to be united. It is really fun place to hang out and have fellowship.”
Foshee believes that the Starbucks theme will bring more students out.
“The theme is great because its just chilling out after the game with some music and friends,” Foshee said.
Senior Brian Kinghorn is coming to the event tonight in support of the school.
“Fifth Quarter is fun and I like being with my friends after the game to talk about what happened and hang out,” King horn said. “I am looking forward to coffee and hot chocolate.”
Kinghorn has always enjoyed the event and encourages students to come out and join in.
“The last Fifth Quarter was really fun and the leadership class did a great job,” Kinghorn said. “Students should come out to have fun and support the school.”
