FC Underground, Ep. 33 (VIDEO)

The 33rd episode of “FC Underground,” covers the week of Nov. 14-18, 2011. “FC Underground” is a weekly segment hosted by Brooke Stobbe, ’12, and produced by Austin Rurik, ’12.

With football and volleyball over, Stobbe touts the upcoming half day, Nov. 16, as well as Book Buddies on Thursday, Nov. 17. CSF will meet for an important lunch meeting, Nov. 18. However, the big news is the weekend as drama will present O’Henry’s classic tale, “The Gift of the Magi,” Nov. 18-19 in Ground Zero. Both performances are at 7 p.m. and theatre goers can buy their $5 tickets at the door.

Stobbe also encourages everyone to come out to either play in or watch volleyball intramurals each day this week during the lunch hour.

For these and other events, read The Feather announcements at the Daily News on the right menu bar.

The segments consist of news, interviews, profiles and comments on campus life. Each episode is between two and three minutes in length.

“FC Underground” first ran in the fall of 1997 and continued until the spring of 2001. In the fall of 2009, editor-in-chief Suzanna Quiring, ’10, resumed the series, which was then produced by Paige Powell, ’10. After Quiring and Powell graduated, Stobbe and Casuga took up the job until this year.

For the previous episode, watch ‘FC Underground,’ Ep. 32.
