FC Underground, Ep. 36 (VIDEO)

The 36th episode of “FC Underground,” covers the week of Dec.5-Dec. 9, 2011. “FC Underground” is a weekly segment hosted by Kristen Rosenthal, ’13, and produced by Austin Rurik, ’12.

With Christmas break less than two weeks away, student leadership has pegged this week “Christmas dress-up days.” Check the announcements and the article outlining each day. The Feather staff is selling Christmas Candy Cane grams to benefit the Evangel Home until Dec. 13.

Other activities this week are Brother to Brother lunch, basketball intramurals and the Spanish Club Friday meeting.

Finally, the music department is planning its Christmas program: “Round the Tables Carol Sing,” Dec. 14 and 15. Tickets are free but space is limited so ask a music department student to secure one.

For these and other events, read The Feather announcements at the Daily News on the right menu bar.

The segments consist of news, interviews, profiles and comments on campus life. Each episode is between two and three minutes in length.

“FC Underground” first ran in the fall of 1997 and continued until the spring of 2001. In the fall of 2009, editor-in-chief Suzanna Quiring, ’10, resumed the series, which was then produced by Paige Powell, ’10. After Quiring and Powell graduated, Stobbe and Casuga took up the job until this year.
